Vinton Presbyterian Church
Vinton, Iowa

The Vinton Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) is a Christ-centered community of believers who together strive in every way to be disciples of Christ through word and action.  As a Presbyterian congregation celebrating 150 years in our community, we seek to ensure God’s word is at the root of all we do and through study and prayer desire to strengthen our relationship with Him.

We are a congregation who welcomes members and guests alike and seeks to minister to all ages.  Our adult and youth ministries offer opportunities for a wide range of interests and abilities and reflect our desire to glorify God in a variety of positive ways.  We encourage everyone to share the good news about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with those around them and ask that they be willing to provide the time, effort and resources needed to serve others both near and far.

Vinton is the county seat for Benton County in east-central Iowa.  We are located about 35 minutes from the two cities of Waterloo and Cedar Rapids.  Our community has a vibrant downtown, a state-of-the-art hospital and will break ground Spring 2006 on a new high school.
